The largest greenhouse here, which belongs to Altyn Tug private enterprise, is almost ready to be put into operation. The facility occupies 12 hectares and it is equipped with modern machinery from leading manufacturers, which allows supporting optimum temperature, as well as automatically regulates humidity and light, irrigation and fertilization of vegetable crops.
Älem açar private enterprise also constructs a 4 hectare greenhouse here in the context of implementation of the state program of producing import substituting and export oriented products.

The number of private and state owned greenhouses in Dashoguz velayat keeps increasing. The demand for the eco-friendly products of greenhouses is high in both local and foreign markets.
