By the order of the Türkmenawtoulaglary agency of the Ministry of Industry and Communication, an auto cluster for technical maintenance and repair of urban and intercity passenger transport, as well as a union of driving schools with a training center, are under construction next to the Ashgabat International Bus Terminal along the Ashgabat - Dashoguz highway. The territory of the complex in the north of the capital will be able to accommodate about three thousand transport vehicles.
More than sixty hectares are allocated for the construction of a new modern auto cluster on this area. The contractor is the Weli Gurluşyk Individual Enterprise.
The auto cluster will include parking space for 800 taxi vehicles, five covered parking lots designed for 350 intercity buses, and 24 covered parking lots with a capacity of more than 1,500 city buses. A total of 12 repair zones will be created on the territory of the complex.
A training center of the union of driving schools designed for 335 people will also be created on the territory of the complex. The training center will be equipped with computer classes, simulators and 60 vehicles.
The complex is scheduled to be commissioned in April 2020.
