School of Entrepreneurship Launches Courses for Seamstresses and Waiters
Established by the UIET in 2009, School of Entrepreneurship has branches in Ashgabat city, and Balkan, Dashoguz, Mary and Lebap velayats.

School of Entrepreneurship of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan established two new courses for training seamstresses of light clothing and waiters.

New specialties, which are currently taught at the schools in Ashgabat and Mary cities, will soon open in other regions of the country.

The duration of the sewing courses in which they teach methods of cutting and sewing light clothing is three months and consists of three stages. The students get acquainted with the methods of manual and machine seam, varieties of sewing machines, and the methods of taking measurements, cutting, and sewing.

The duration of the waiter training courses is one month. The purpose of the training is to develop the students’ theoretical and practical knowledge, and then practice the skills of serving visitors of public catering enterprises. The program of the courses include such areas as ethics and psychology of behavior at public catering enterprises, the work schedule, the organization of the waiter’s work.

School of Entrepreneurship, which is consistently increasing its range of vocational courses, launched short-term courses for tour guides last December.

Established by the Union in 2009, School of Entrepreneurship has branches in Ashgabat city, and Balkan, Dashoguz, Mary and Lebap velayats. The school received a license to conduct vocational training courses in 27 areas.
