Sahabatly Economic Society held negotiations on the supply of 400 Holstein cows from Hungary and 65 cattle of the same breed from Holland.
The Turkmen company operates an 8.6-hectare livestock complex in Ahal velayat. Near the complex, the company was allocated 400 hectares of land plot for the cultivation of fodder crops.
Head of the Sahabatly Orazgeldi Anzarov said the complex contains highly productive Holstein cattle and Saanen goats. The complex currently includes 400 dairy cows.
“Our company produces kefir of various fat content, including dietary, bio-kefir, sour cream, suzma and cottage cheese,” Anzarov said. “We produce cheeses of Paýtagt and Dilim brands.”
The businessman also added that they produce feta cheese from goat milk.
The livestock complex of the Sahabatly Economic Society was opened in 2014.
