Turkmen state-owned postal service company Turkmenpost is expanding its list of services provided to the population.
The company’s offices started delivering fines issued by the Police Road Supervision Service to citizens’ homes and provided the opportunity to pay them online via the company’s updated website or at its branches, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Wednesday.
The postman who will delivers the fine will also be able to accept cashless payments using the mobile POS terminal. Payment confirmation, in a digital format, will be sent to the relevant department.
As part of the cooperation between Turkmenpost and Police Road Supervision Service, in every branch of the company, car owners will be able to pay not only fines, but also make payments for car registration, driver exams and vehicle inspection.
Through the company’s updated website via the Personal Account service, users will also be able to make online payments of fines, utility bills and other services. After entering the necessary data, SMS notification will confirm payment.
The company's range of services also includes sale of train tickets, express delivery of goods to any country that is part of the Universal Postal Union and home delivery of products.
