Ministry of Textile Industry Opens Five New Stores in Ashgabat


Five specialized stores of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan opened in Ashgabat on Wednesday, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reports. Such specialized store was also opened in the city of Gumdag of Balkan velayat.

The new stores include a wide range of environmentally friendly and high-quality textile products manufactured in Turkmenistan, which are in high demand both in the domestic and foreign markets.

Customers can buy goods of national brands that have recently gained wide popularity, including garments of Gala brand of Gokdepe Textile Complex and Goza brand of Ashgabat Textile Complex, products of Ýeňiş sewing factory in Mary and fabrics factory in Ashgabat, and many other textile products.

Turkmen designers develop and produce clothing lines by taking into consideration the seasonal needs of the population and global fashion trends.

Stylish clothes for men and women and sports uniforms for students, incorporating the specifics of each university and using elements of national ornament, are also offered in these stores.

According to Turkmenistan newspaper, the production volume of the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan increased by 2.3% in January-May period of this year.
