Turkmen Company Installs Solar Panels in Remote Villages
Täze Energiýa Individual enterprise installed solar power supply systems with a total capacity of 10 kW in remote villages of Kelleli, Yel and Byashkak of Ahal velayat, replacing diesel generators.

Täze Energiýa Individual enterprise has been designing and installing solar panels in Turkmenistan since 2015. Neytralnyi Turkmenistan newspaper reported on Thursday.

“Quality solar panels are designed to last at least 25 years. During this time, there is a gradual decrease in power. For the next 20 years, the system will generate approximately 80 percent of its original capacity. Thus, the total service life is 45 years and more,” said the head of the company Nury Hydyrov.

Within the framework of the joint Government of Turkmenistan and UNDP project "Efficient use of energy and renewable energy sources for sustainable water management in Turkmenistan" solar power supply systems with a total capacity of 10 kW were installed in the villages of Kelleli, Yel and Byashkak of Ahal velayat, replacing diesel generators, the report said.

By order of the Altyn Asyr Closed Joint Stock Company, the company has also installed solar panels in a remote area in Ahal velayat to supply electricity to cell towers.

According to Hydyrov, the company plans in the future to build a solar power plant with a capacity of 10 MW near the Altyn Asyr Turkmen lake. The company will also establish the production of solar glass panels in Turkmenistan.

Täze energiýa has signed a contract with an Italian company for the production of solar panels using the new Glaas & Glaas technology.
