During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the ongoing work to open trading houses of Turkmenistan abroad, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.
The Deputy Prime Minister informed about the steps to further develop mutually beneficial trade and economic relations with different countries of the world, adding that high-quality Turkmen products are in high demand in foreign markets.
Given these circumstances and in order to implement the measures provided for in the Program for the development of foreign economic activity of Turkmenistan for 2020-2025, the Deputy Prime Minister proposed to open a Trading House of Turkmenistan in the city of Kazan in Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.
Following the report, the President underlined the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan are a prime example of effective business partnership in the context of the country's traditional trade, economic, humanitarian and cultural ties with the Russian Federation.
Turkmenistan and Tatarstan have powerful industrial potential, the Head of State said, noting the existence of many projects, the implementation of which is aimed at improving the well-being of the peoples of the two countries.
As noted, cooperation with Tatarstan is of great importance, taking into account both the existing prospects of partnership and the historical ties between fraternal peoples. In this regard, Turkmen President supported the proposal to open a Trading House of Turkmenistan in Kazan and gave relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
