Amount of Turkmen Banks’ Loans in National Currency Revealed
As of February 1, 2021, the total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency amounted to 13.088 billion manats.

As of February 1, 2021, the amount of loans issued by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to state-owned enterprises and organizations in national currency amounted to 51.964 billion manats, which is 8.6% more compared to same period of 2020. In February 2020, this figure was over 44.8 billion manats, according to the data of Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of February 1, 2021, the amount of loans issued by Turkmen credit institutions to non-state companies and organizations in national currency amounted to 5.459 billion manats, which is 7.8% more compared to same period of 2020. In February 2020, this figure stood at 4.299 billion manats.

In addition, as of February 1, 2021, the total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency amounted to 13.088 billion manats, which is 9% more compared to same period of 2020. In February 2020, this figure stood at 11.866 billion manats.

The financial institutions of Turkmenistan that provide loans are Türkmenbaşy and Daýhanbank state commercial banks, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Halkbank, Rysgal and Senagat joint-stock commercial banks, according to the Central Bank’s Banking Regulation Department.
