Amount of Turkmen Banks’ Loans in Manat Funds Revealed
As of April 1, 2021, the total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency amounted to 13.250 billion manats.

As of April 1, 2021, the amount of loans issued by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to state-owned enterprises and organizations in national currency amounted to 52.585 billion manats, which is 17.2% more compared to same period of 2020. In April 2020, this figure was over 44.883 billion manats, according to the data of Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

As of April 1, 2021, the amount of loans issued by Turkmen credit institutions to non-state companies and organizations in national currency amounted to 5.772 billion manats, which is 17.7% more compared to same period of 2020. In April 2020, this figure stood at 4.863 billion manats.

In addition, as of April 1, 2021, the total amount of loans provided to citizens and non-state entrepreneurs in national currency amounted to 13.250 billion manats, which is 9.5% more compared to same period of 2020. In April 2020, this figure stood at 12.102 billion manats.

The financial institutions of Turkmenistan that provide loans are Türkmenbaşy and Daýhanbank state commercial banks, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Halkbank, Rysgal and Senagat joint-stock commercial banks, according to the Central Bank’s Banking Regulation Department.

In February 2021, the total volume of loans issued by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to enterprises, organizations and citizens in national currency stood at 70.511 billion manats.

The financial institutions of Turkmenistan that provide loans are Türkmenbaşy and Daýhanbank state commercial banks, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, and the Halkbank, Rysgal and Senagat joint-stock commercial banks, according to the Central Bank’s Banking Regulation Department.
