Täze Energiýa (New Energy) Individual Enterprise intends to build a new plant for the production of double glass polycrystalline solar panels in Turkmenistan, the head of the company Nury Hydyrov said in an interview for the local press on Monday during the exhibition dedicated to the country’s 30th independence anniversary.
The head of the company said that the novel panels are able to withstand high humidity and extreme heat due to double glazing.
The company has purchased the land in the industrial zone of Anev city in Ahal velayat to implement the construction.
Täze energiýa has been installing solar modules since 2015. They are especially popular in remote villages in the depths of the Karakum Desert. In distant pastures, green energy is used to automatically feed water from wells, desalinate it and generate electricity, according to Hydyrov.
The company’s solar panels also power TM CELL mobile stations at the Altyn Asyr lake.
Täze Energiýa is the first company in Turkmenistan to have a license to manufacture and install solar panels in the country.
