The Union of Artists of Turkmenistan will acquire a building at the address Ashgabat, Turkmenbashi Avenue, 10. The building is currently on the balance sheet of the State Cultural Center of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
The President of Turkmenistanv Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Wednesday signed the Resolution instructing the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan to privatize the building through a direct (address) sale to the Union of Artists.
A Resolution was signed in order to provide state support to Turkmen artists and create favorable conditions for their work, the Turkmen official media reports.
On Wednesday, Turkmenistan newspaper announced the holding by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the auction for the sale of 11 state-owned objects. The auction will be held on March 30 in the building of the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
The properties of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the Türkmenawtoulaglary (Turkmen Motor Transport) Agency, the Türkmenhaly (Turkmen Carpets) Production Association, the khyakimliks (administrations) of Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary provinces will be put up for auction.
