Almaty will host the Business 5+1 (B5+1) forum aimed at promoting regional cooperation and improving the business environment in Central Asia on March 14-15, as reported by the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), a non-profit affiliate of the US Chamber of Commerce.
The forum will bring together representatives from government and businesses in Central Asia and the US to discuss the development of key sectors, including transportation, e-commerce, tourism, green energy, and agribusiness.
The forum is the outcome of a year-long collaborative effort involving over 300 experts and 200 business organizations in Central Asia, facilitated by CIPE.
Over two days, specialists and business representatives will exchange their ideas on creating an integrated economic space in Central Asia, constituting a unified regional market.
The B5+1 forum was initiated under the Improving the Business Environment in Central Asia (IBECA) program led by CIPE, with funding from the US Department of State. With the support of the US Department of State, CIPE spearheaded the initiative to establish the B5+1 business dialogue platform, running parallel to the diplomatic efforts of C5+1.
