On August 30, during a government meeting in Turkmenistan, Deputy Prime Minister B. Orazdurdiyeva reported on preparations for Knowledge and Student Youth Day, as well as for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.

Various celebratory events are planned, including at the Monument of Independence, the Berdimuhammet Annaev Pedagogical Secondary School in the city of Arkadag, and at School No. 27 in the village of Yzgant in Gokdepe district, Ahal province.

The first lesson of the new school year will focus on the theme “The Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy” and will highlight the achievements made during the 33rd anniversary of the country's sacred independence, as well as the vast opportunities created for future generations.

Every first-grade student in the country will receive a "Bilimli" computer as a gift from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag.

Adding to the festivity, new educational institutions are set to open across the country on this day. Among them is a secondary school for 1,200 students in Ahal province, two secondary schools for 1,360 students in Lebap province, and a kindergarten for 160 children along with a secondary school for 500 students in Mary province.

Summarizing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to ensure a high level of organization for the events dedicated to Knowledge and Student Youth Day. The President also instructed the government to properly prepare for the distribution of modern computers to first-grade students on behalf of Hero-Arkadag at the start of the new academic year.
