Turkmen Entrepreneurs, who arrived in Japan travelling on a direct flight from Ashgabat to Tokyo this week, visited Tokyo Stock Exchange on Friday. The stock exchange was very welcoming and took a few minutes to replace some of the screens with a welcome message just for Turkmen entrepreneurs: "Tokyo Stock Exchange welcomes Union of Industralists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Group."
The Tokyo Stock Exchange is the fourth largest stock exchange in the world by aggregate market capitalization of its listed companies, and largest in Asia. It was established in 1878.
During their visit to Japan, the members of the Union of Industralists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan will also visit Ota Wholesale Market, Mitsukoshi Depachika food markets in Tokyo's Nihonbashi district, Tsukiji wholesale fish and seafood market, Shinagawa Intercity Flea Market and RGF Talent Solutions company.
Turkmen tourism companies and Turkmenistan Airlines have also developed an exclusive tour for tourists from Japan. The tour is scheduled for June 26-30.
