Bagdan food company, specializing in the trading of dried fruits and nuts in Turkmenistan, established the production of different types of lokums this year. The company also operates corn chips and nuts manufacturing workshops.
"We are delivering 20 varieties of lokums with fruit, nuts and chocolate to our customers through our 10 stores in different parts of the country," Shatlyk Gurdov, the company's Export Manager, told Business Turkmenistan. "Since their launch, the company has been offering 41 types of products to consumers."
Gurdov said the company expects to diversify production, adding that Bagdan will “produce confectionary products in industrial zone in Ahal velayat’s Ak Bugday etrap.”
Gurdov noted that three hectares of land were allocated on a long-term basis to expand the company's production.
To expand production, the company leased three hectares of land on a long-term basis, Gurdov noted.
Bagdan’s dried fruits and nuts can also be purchased in various stores. Other shops can also use Bagdan trademark by concluding an agreement with the company.
Bagdan food company, owned by Businessman Azat Durdyyev, was started with the trading of dried fruits in Turkmenistan in 2017.
