Bujar Osmani, OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Foreign Minister of Northern Macedonia, continues his tour of Central Asian countries, press24.mk. reported citing the Foreign Ministry of Northern Macedonia.
After visits to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in August this year, Osmani is going to make a two-day visit to Kyrgyzstan, and next week he is expected to visit Turkmenistan.
During the visit, Buyar Osmani will hold meetings with Turkmenistan's leadership, where they will exchange views on the current state and future directions of bilateral co-operation, as well as discuss ways to further develop bilateral relations.
In June this year, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Secretary General of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe Helga Schmid.
During the meeting, the OSCE Secretary General emphasised the high interest of the OSCE in further developing traditional relations with Turkmenistan in the interests of global peace and prosperity.
