With the arrival of the New Year, residents of Turkmenistan began receiving increased benefits according to a decree from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as reported by the news program Watan habarlary.

The decree, issued on July 12 of last year, aims to implement the tasks outlined in the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2028, focusing on improving living conditions for the population.

The minimum monthly pension for participants of the Great Patriotic War stands at 2,280 manats, while their spouses and those who worked in related fields receive 665 manats. The base amount for determining the minimum pension is set at 550 manats, and the calculation for state benefit payments is based on 520 manats.

In Turkmenistan, the government established a minimum monthly wage of 1,410 manats to regulate monthly labor remuneration.

For several years, salaries and other benefits in the country have increased by 10% annually.
