As of January 1, 2024, Turkmen credit institutions allocated over 89.1 billion manats in loans to enterprises, organizations, and the population in the national currency, according to the electronic magazine Bank habarlary by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan. The loan balance witnessed an increase from the previous year, where it exceeded 88.9 billion manats as of January 1, 2023.
