Thorough review of the quality management system of the enterprise producing 7gen gums

Three private business enterprises, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), have been awarded ISO certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015) and Food Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000:2018).

The producer of chewing gums Akmyrat Sapargylyjov received ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 certificates, food packaging manufacturer Bahadur Ahmedov received ISO 22000:2018 certificate, and the supplier of goods for agriculture and enterprises of the offshore and oil and gas industries Kirill Gorodnov received ISO 9001:2015 certificate in a solemn ceremony held at the conference hall of the European Union Project SARD III.

The management system introduced and certified at these enterprises will reduce costs by stricter accounting of raw materials and finished products, increase the efficiency of internal business processes, and ensure a clear distribution of staff responsibilities. Holders of these certificates receive an additional advantage when exporting their products abroad, negotiating with partners and investors, as well as when participating in tenders.

The certificates were issued by CERT International (Slovakia), whose international auditors conducted a thorough review of the quality and food safety management system of these enterprises in November 2019.

Since January 2020, CERT International has been represented in Turkmenistan on a permanent basis through its official partner HIL-TM center of Halkara Standart Hyzmatlary Individual Enterprise.
