Turkmen President Inspects Progress of Constructions in Ashgabat
The Head of Turkmenistan first flew over the proposed territory of the International Pediatric Center located in the southern part of Ashgabat.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Tuesday flew over Ashgabat with a helicopter to inspect the ongoing construction works and was presented projects for further improving the social infrastructure of the capital.

The Head of Turkmenistan first flew over the proposed territory of the International Pediatric Center located in the southern part of Ashgabat, the country’s official media reports.

The presidential helicopter also flew over the Makhtumkuli Fraghi cultural and park complex in the southern part of Ashgabat.

The Head of State then inspected from the helicopter the ongoing works on the construction of the International Recreation and Rehabilitation Center with 400 beds, the Tashkent Park, a shopping center under construction along the capital's Magtymguly Avenue, the progress of construction work in the Parahat residential area and different facilities in capital’s Buzmeyin district.

After completing his overflight of Ashgabat, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected sketches of the construction sites near the multi-lane highway bridge at the intersection of Archabil Avenue and Nurmuhammet Andalib Street.

Charymyrat Purchekov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government in charge of the construction, presented to the Head of State the proposed plans for the renovation of the Main Flag Square in the southern part of the city, to build a park on the west side of Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue, modern social facilities along Gurbansoltan Eje Avenue and sketches of residential buildings proposed for construction along Myati Kosayev Street.
