Job Purpose

• To support in all daily activities of operations, Maintenance, Construction and Projects. Also, he is to participate with Engineering Team as an integral part in all daily activities and to be fully in-charge on all in-house projects assigned to him

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing conceptual designs for modifications or new process facilities and evaluating requests for field productions. Ensuring application of correct codes and standards in the design and development projects strategies for presentation to Management for approval. Acts as a functional advisor on all aspects of process engineering ensures safe, economic and technically sound decisions are taken to meet company’s requirement. Monitoring production targets and production forecast and set plan to upgrade facili as required meeting future production. Developing facilities and equipment capacity performance test and identify present future bottlenecks in view of future production forecast
•  Providing process engineering assistance to support operations to achieve their target goals. Implements process design, project development and economics / planning in terms of small project designing to increase the productivity and efficiency of the production units. Provides necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications / data sheets and within budgeted man-hour and project schedules
•  In coordination with Field staff, monitors and controls the process equipment’s performance with all respects including production units’ performance, product pecification and chemical usage to achieve optimum, best economic and cost-effective results. Recommends corrective actions to deal with abnormalities, de- bottlenecking, upgrading and optimum operating conditions for the Field Sites (Offshore and Onshore)
• Provides technical assistance for process safety management and environmental compliance
• Participates in evaluation of the Field Modification Forms. This includes identification, definition and validation. Recommends rejection or acceptance and appropriate solutions of the proposed modification request
• Identifies the Offshore and Onshore units’ bottlenecks and effectively participates carrying out modifications studies to de-bottleneck and upgrade the existing with involving unit capacity and performance
• Runs computer simulation programs for unit/equipment process monitoring. Applies computer simulation models and other advanced techniques to achieve optimum plant performance.
• Follows up on trials of new production chemicals, check and monitor their performance issues and issue relevant reports / recommendations in coordination with Field Production
• Participates in the Health, Safety and Environmental Sub-committee and the implementation of emergency procedures. Participates in safety surveys and audits of plant and equipment, ensuring the observance of all safety and fire rules and regulations. Adheres to the company health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations related to his area of responsibility
• Any other written or verbal duties assigned as by Line Manager, which do not contradict

With Turkmen Legislation responsible for:

• For non-fulfillment (improper performance) of the duties stipulated by job description, in the range of identified by Turkmenistan legislation
• For implementation in process of carrying out works violations in range of identified by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Turkmenistan
• For causing material damages - in the range identified by the labor, criminal and civil laws of Turkmenistan

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Process Engineering

Certifications

• Must be familiar with international codes and standards to be applied during FEED and EPC phases off projects
