Job Purpose
- Enhance the Valves workshop requirements to maintain and calibrate all types of valves.
- Update the Valves Master List for On/offshore facilities to identify the types of valves available with numbers.
- Create the SAF for the spare parts for all valves.
- Prepare the procedures for testing and repair required.
- Set up and follow up the inspection/recalibration frequency schedule of the valves.
- Train the local staff inside the workshop.
- To work as Performing Authority signatory as per approved PTW Standard in assigned work area.
Job Responsibilities
- Enhance the Valves workshop requirement to maintain and calibrate all types of valves.
- Update the Valves Master List for On/offshore facilities to identify the types of valves available with No to prepare the master list
- Create the SAF for the spare parts for all valves.
- Min /Max system for the spares required to be monitored to enhance the stock availability.
- Prepare the procedures for testing and repair required.
- Set up and following the inspection/recalibration frequency schedule of the valves.
- Create and follow up the valves history in the system (CMMS).
- Develop and implement the maintenance plan and preventive maintenance schedules using the CMMS.
- Create/process the WOs (Work Orders) and prepare the plan, intervals, statistics for all WOs related to the valves using CMMS system.
- Create a history of the problems and troubleshooting of all the valves.
- Root cause analysis to be conducted for the major failures of the valves in line for solution recommendation and record them in the system.
- Maintain the work shop with equipment as per the standard.
- Meet operating objectives more efficiently and cost-effectively
- Carry out all operating activities in accordance with company, local and international HSE rules and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with policies regarding hazardous area classifications and equipment usage.
- Tool box talk to be conducted on daily bases specially during the test /recalibration of the valves
- Take all necessary precautions to protect the safety of site personnel.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience with handling repairing and testing/recalibration of all type of valves. Good experience with mechanical rotating equipment’s.
