THE TERM OF CONTRACT: 1 year (with possibility of extension)

PROBATION PERIOD: 3 months 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of food of different cuisines, preferably with the experience of preparation of Korean food
• Creating menu and course for events

PREFERABLE SKILLS

• Knowledge of either English or Korean is a plus
• Professional skills in the relevant field (it is necessary to provide a document confirming work experience)

SALARY AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• Monthly salary: 600 USD
• Dismissal pay will not be paid upon the termination of the contract.
• Pension payments are done by the Embassy.
• Work schedule: 3 days a week, 09:00-18:00 (Lunch break: 12:30-13:30)

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

1st stage: Document Review

Document submission: 2 August ~ 14 August 

2nd stage: Interview and trial cooking (if necessary)

Announcement of the final result: late August

Background check (2 -3 weeks)

Commencement of work: early September

It is necessary to submit the documents to the Embassy or send to e-mail: korembtm@mofa.go.kr from 2 August to 14 August from 10:00 to 18:00.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• CV with photo 4X5, which was taken within last 3 months
• Document confirming work experience (if available) 
• Recommendation letters (if available)
