Job Purpose
- Mechanic (Offshore) is subordinates to Mechanic Supervisor or as assigned.
- The workplace of the Mechanic (Offshore) is as assigned for by his discipline
- Mechanic (Offshore) is appointed, moved and dismissed by order of the DOTL Director Turkmenistan Operations as advised by Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility of the Mechanic (Offshore) is maintaining, inspect, Repair, install, function test, verify specifications fit for work and verify operating conditions as safe. Calibration of all DOTL equipment on all systems and subsystem.
- Install, repair, inspect and perform basic maintenance on all rotating equipment on different Onshore Locations including Power generators, fluid pumps, Compressors, FF pumps, WI plant etc. Mechanic activity is extended to include all related tasks covering mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, stating, starting system and electro-hydraulic subsystems etc.
- Install, repair, inspect and perform basic maintenance on all primary separation plant mechanic systems etc.
- Install, repair, inspect and perform basic maintenance on valves, controllable shut-off actuators and adjustable valves, different types of control panels and processes control
- Assist in following and maintaining scheduled maintenance programs for plant equipment. Maintain records, update drawings, and develop safety practices at work. Carry out corrective maintenance, major maintenance work and overhaul of all subcomponents as allowable on assigned technological units.
Qualification Requirements
- Primary professional education
- Five (5) years hands on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, diagnosing and inspection of all type of rotating and static equipment in Oil and gas or equivalent industry. Relevance of experience will be determined based on similar equipment, procedures, and job functions. Additional related education maybe substituted for work experience.
- Good knowledge of Oi l& Gas process facility processes, functions and maintenance is an advantage
- Good knowledge of HSECES, familiar with safety Critical equipment protocols and IPF maintenance procedures is an advantage
- Computer knowledge and skills is an advantage
- English languish is important and an advantage
