The Embassy of Pakistan in Turkmenistan is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Driver to provide transportation services for the Head of Mission. This position requires a professional with exceptional driving abilities, discretion, and a strong understanding of safety and security protocols.

Position: Driver to the Head of Mission

Location: Ashgabat, Turkmenistan

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently transport the Head of Mission to official meetings, events, and functions.
• Ensure the vehicle is always maintained in top condition, including regular cleaning, routine inspections, and any necessary repairs.
• Follow embassy safety protocols, including those related to emergency situations and secure driving procedures.
• Manage and maintain the driver’s schedule, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
• Assist with administrative duties, such as running errands or transporting documents, when required.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional driver, preferably with diplomatic or corporate clientele.
• In-depth knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with senior officials.
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with work hours, including the possibility of evening or weekend assignments.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or emergency situations.
• Knowledge of first aid and defensive driving is an asset.
• Fluency in English required, proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
