JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Business Researcher at the Market Entry Assistance Center at the Turkmen Congress

Market Entry Assistance Center ( Market Access & Policy Center | MAP Center is a platform created by the Turkmen Congress Economic Association to help companies and investors establish operations in Turkmenistan and develop projects. We explain where to start and what steps are needed to enter the market, and we help find the right organizations and relevant specialists. We organize meetings between businesses, government agencies, and partners (B2G and B2B) and support agreements reached after forums and visits. We prepare briefs and sector overviews, highlight opportunities for cooperation, and facilitate clear communication to speed up decision-making and advance work.

Turkmen Congress Economic Association is a professional partner for organizing international business events in Turkmenistan. We organize conferences, forums, seminars, and congresses of any scale: from concept and program development to speaker management, branding, sponsorship, venue design, and full on-site management. We provide media support, press relations, photo and video production, and promotion. For foreign delegations, we organize visa and protocol support, translation, travel and accommodation, as well as customized programs for B2B and B2G meetings. We also prepare analytics and reports.

MAP Center is looking for a business researcher ( Research Fellow , who will engage in in-depth analysis of the business environment, markets and industries, and use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to improve the effectiveness of analytical and research work.

The specialist will be involved in strategic, analytical, and consulting projects, including international initiatives, forums, business missions, and interactions with public and private partners.

Main responsibilities

Research and Analytics

• Conducting qualitative and quantitative business research.
• Analysis of markets, industries, competitive environment, investment climate and business indicators.
• Preparation of analytical materials:- analytical reports, - market and industry reviews, -analytical notes on business and policy issues (stories) - presentations for management and partners.

Using AI in Analytics

• Application of artificial intelligence tools for: - analysis of large amounts of information, processing of texts, documents and open sources, identifying trends, patterns and hypotheses, accelerating the preparation of analytical reports and presentations.
• Formation and optimization of queries ( prompting ) for AI tools.
• Critical evaluation, verification and interpretation of results obtained using AI.

Strategy and business assessment

• Participation in the development of business strategies, analytical concepts and development models.
• Analysis of financial, operational and market indicators.
• Preparation of well-founded conclusions and recommendations for management decisions.

Project activities

• Support for analytical and research projects from task formulation to final reporting.
• Collection, systematization and verification of data from various sources.
• Participation in working meetings, strategic sessions, forums and presentations of results.

Requirements for the candidate

Education and experience

• Higher education (Master's degree is welcome) in the field of:
• economics, business, management, finance, international relations, sociology or related disciplines.
• Experience in analytical, research or consulting work.

Professional skills

• Developed analytical and systemic thinking.
• Ability to work with large volumes of information and data.
• Skills in preparing structured analytical texts and presentations.
• Practical experience using AI tools in analytics and research.
• Understanding the limitations of AI and principles of data validation.
• Confident use of Microsoft 365 and MS ecosystem applications Office .
• Proficiency in English and Russian.
