Youth4Climate Call for Solutions 2025 Now Open

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Government of Italy, announces the launch of the 2025 Youth4Climate Call for Solutions. This global initiative invites young climate leaders and youth-led organizations to submit innovative projects addressing climate change challenges. Applications are open from February 26 to May 26, 2025.

Funding and Support

Selected applicants can receive up to $30,000 in seed funding. Additionally, they will benefit from capacity development opportunities, including mentorship programs with group workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and project pitching sessions.

Thematic Areas

The 2025 Call focuses on six priority themes:

• Sustainable Energy
• Food and Agriculture
• Climate and Health
• Digital for Planet
• Climate, Peace, and Security
• Nature for Climate Action

Eligibility Criteria

• Individuals aged 18 to 29.
• Legally registered, youth-led organizations with leadership primarily aged 18 to 29.
• Projects must be implemented in eligible countries listed in the Call guidelines.
• Project leads must be nationals of the eligible countries.

Application Process

• Access the Call for Solutions 2025 Guidelines and templates.
• Register and create a profile on the Youth4Climate Platform.
• Download and review the Guidelines Document thoroughly.
• Complete the Budget and Workplan template.
• Prepare a 3-minute pitch video as per the guidelines.
• Submit your proposal via the application platform by May 26, 2025, at 23:59 CET.
